Clarification Regarding Recent Media Coverage

This statement is issued by TAU Pty Ltd (trading as AUDX Token), which operates the Aussie Dollar Token (AUDX Token), a 1:1 pegged Australian stablecoin.

Recent media reports have referred to a company operating under the names AUDX Australia and AUDX Global that has ceased trading and entered liquidation. That entity was operated by DAEX.

To avoid any confusion, AUDX Token confirms that it is owned and operated by TAU Pty Ltd, which forms part of the BetterX Group, and is not associated in any way with the DAEX-operated entity referenced in those media reports.

While the names are similar, the businesses are entirely separate and unrelated, with no corporate, operational, financial, governance, or historical links. AUDX Token has never been operated by DAEX, and neither AUDX Token nor BetterX has any connection to the Sydney-based digital asset exchange described in the media. AUDX Token operations are not affected by the events referenced in those reports.

AUDX Token and BetterX continue to operate as normal. BetterX provides institutional-grade infrastructure for tokenisation, trading, and portfolio management, and remains focused on product development, platform integrations, and ecosystem growth.

For additional context, the BetterX Group, which includes AUDX Token, is backed by Aura Group, a regional fund manager advising and managing in excess of A$1.6 billion in assets. In addition to Aura, BetterX is supported by global fund managers, ASX-listed companies, and institutional investors.

The BetterX Group was founded in 2021 by:

• Adam Switzer, former Head of AI/ML Technology at DBS and Head of Treasury Risk Technology at HSBC

• Kinsey Cotton, Co-founder and Non-Executive Director of Tibra Capital

• Calvin Ng, Co-founder of Finsure (acquired by MA Financial for A$152 million in December 2021)

• Eric Chau, international patent holder and product specialist with senior leadership experience across ASX-listed companies
